Excluding USB drive attached to Hyper-V host
I have a standalone Hyper-V host with three VMs. One of the VMs runs the BDRShield backup server.
Attached to the Hyper-V host machine is a USB SSD. It is marked offline in the host's Disk Manager. Instead, it (the physical USB drive) is passed through as a physical disk to the BDRShield backup server VM. It is used as a backup repository in BDRShield.
The remaining two VMs are backed up by BDRShield. I would like to include the host machine in the Hyper-V backup job too.
My question is: will the Hyper-V host machine backup try to include the USB drive which is attached to the host? If so, how do I exclude it? The disk exclusion options on the backup job are limited to IDE, SCSI, or NVMe.
