Cause:
When upgrading the BDRShield (Backup Server/Offsite DR Server) from version 3.9.0 to version 3.9.1, the drivers for the BDRShield Virtual Drive undergo an upgrade. As part of this upgrade process, the BDR server prompts the user to reboot the system.
If the user neglects this request and continues using the BDRShield Backup Server or attempts to upgrade the server to another version without performing a system reboot, an error will occur, indicating that a system reboot is pending.
Solution:
To address this issue, it is imperative to reboot the BDRShield Server (BDR Server/Offsite DR Server) immediately. This ensures the successful completion of the upgrade process and prevents any potential errors or disruptions in the system.
