Disk Image Backup Suspension After v7.0 Upgrade in BDRShield Client

Disk Image Backup Suspension After v7.0 Upgrade in BDRShield Client

KB ID: 103095
Error:
After upgrading to v7.0 from a lower version, Disk Image backups from the old version will be automatically suspended. When attempting to resume these backups from the web console, an alert with the code "KB:103095 Disk image backups are not supported Post 7.0 client migration" will be displayed.
Solution:
Starting from the v7.0 release, configuring Disk Image backups from the BDRShield Client for VMware/Hyper-V/Windows/Linux web console is no longer supported. It is recommended to set up Disk Image backups directly from the Backup Server. However, for recovery purposes, the old Disk Image backups will remain available on the Backup Server.
Note: This knowledge base specifically pertains to the BDRShield Client for VMware/Hyper-V/Windows/Linux and does not apply to the BDRShield Client for Files & Applications.
