Alert: SNAPSHOT_FAILURE Snapshot Creation Failed While DoSnapshotSet Call

KB ID: 104063
Issue:
The "SNAPSHOT_FAILURE" alert occurs with the message "Snapshot Creation Failed While DoSnapshotSet Call" in BDRShield. This alert is usually triggered when there is insufficient space in the volume to take a snapshot of the Virtual Machine (VM).
Solution:
To resolve the "SNAPSHOT_FAILURE" issue, follow the steps below:
1. Review the storage capacity of the volume where the VM's disk is present.
2. If the volume has insufficient space, consider clearing some unnecessary data to free up storage.
3. Alternatively, you can extend the storage capacity of the volume to accommodate the snapshot requirements.
It is crucial to ensure that the volume has enough available space for the snapshot process to complete successfully. By either clearing data or expanding the volume's storage, you can mitigate the "SNAPSHOT_FAILURE" issue and enable smooth VM backups using Vembu-VMBackup.
