Issue:
Encountering the error "No profile for backup" when using BDRShield
Cause:
This issue may occur when BDRShield runs under a user account that lacks Outlook profiles.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, follow the steps below:
1. Change Logon Account:
- Open the Services control applet through "Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services" shortcut or by running "services.msc" command in "Start -> Run" tool.
- Select the BDRShield service and open its Properties dialog.
- In the BDRShield services Properties dialog, go to the "Logon" tab.
- Change the user logon to a user account that has the Outlook profile to be backed up.
- Provide the correct username and password details.
- Click 'Apply' and 'OK' to apply the changes.
2. Restart Service:
Restart the BDRShield service.
3. Verify Backup:
Schedule the Outlook backup to check whether the issue is resolved and backup results are successful.
