File Backup Suspension After v7.0 Upgrade in BDRShield Client
KB ID: 162200
Error:
After upgrading to v7.0 from a lower version, File backups from the old version will be automatically suspended. When attempting to resume these backups from the web console, an alert with the code "KB:162200 File backups are not supported Post 7.0 client migration" will be displayed.
Solution:
Starting from the v7.0 release, configuring File backup from the BDRShield Client for VMware/Hyper-V/Windows/Linuxclient web console is not supported. It is recommended to set up File backups directly from the Backup Server. However, for recovery purposes, the old File backups will remain available on the Backup Server.

Note: This knowledge base specifically pertains to the BDRShield Client for VMware/Hyper-V/Windows/Linux and does not apply to the BDRShield Client for Files & Applications.
