Cause:
This error occurs when the machine is configured in a proxy network, and the server name or address resolution fails.
Solution:
To resolve the "msxml3.dll: The server name or address could not be resolved" error, follow the steps below:1. Exclude from Proxy Setup: Exclude the server machine from the proxy network setup.2. Proceed with BDR Server Installation:
- BDRShield online installer requires an internet connection to download necessary applications.
- After excluding the server machine from the proxy setup, proceed with the installation of the BDRShield Backup server.
Note: Excluding the server from the proxy network will enable the installer to establish the required internet connection for downloading essential components during the installation process.
