Can I exclude a specific VMs/Disks from the VM backup?

Yes, you exclude specific VMs or Disks from the VM backup for VMware and Hyper-V.

 

VM Exclusions: When an entire host is selected for backup, you can exclude specific VMs.

Disk Exclusions: You can include or exclude specific disks from a VM Backup using the three options below:

a) No Disks should be excluded

b) Include only System Disks for backup, Exclude others (Typically Disk 0:0)

c) Exclude the following selected Disks from backup -- This option will allow you to select the type of disk such as IDE, SATA, and SCSI that has to be excluded from the backup.
