How can I add a Hyper-V host to BDRSuite for backup and recovery?

  1. To add an HyperV Host (Standalone, Hyper-V Cluster or SMB server), you need to enter the hyper-V host details such as Hostname/IP Address and credentials (Username & password that has administrative privileges).
  2. BDRSuite will automatically install BDRSuite Delegation Service (BDS) on the target Hyper-V hosts and the host will be added to the backup server.
  3. BDS is a mandatory component for backup operations which will be automatically installed on each host through backup server.
  4. You can then configure backup for the added hosts.
