What are the licensing options available for Hyper-V Backup & Replication?

BDRSuite offers two flexible licensing options for Hyper-V Backup: Subscription and Perpetual licenses.

You can choose between:

  1. Per-CPU Socket Pricing
    Licenses are based on the number of CPU sockets on your source Hyper-V host.
    For example, if your host has 2 CPU sockets, you'll need 2 CPU-socket licenses, and you can backup & replicate unlimited VMs on that host.

  2. Per-VM Pricing
    Licenses are based on the number of virtual machines (VMs) you want to backup or replicate.
    For example, to backup or replicate 10 VMs, you’ll need 10 VM licenses.
