BDRShield Backup for AWS allows you to restore the backup data of your EC2 instances using two recovery options:

Instance recovery-restore an entire EC2 instance from a backup. This option is useful when you need to recover an entire EC2 instance due to a data loss or failure.

Volume recovery-restore individual EBS volumes from a backup. This option is useful when you need to recover specific data or files that were stored on a particular EBS volume.

Granular file recovery restore files and folders without restoring the full volume or instance.
